2nd GRADE CLASS (2008-2009)

Dear Parents:

Jill and I are both very excited about second grade this year!  We are both so thankful to the Lord to be given this opportunity.

This year in second grade we will be covering several different topics.  We will “Discover” many things about Christopher Columbus, learn how the pioneers lived, and even feast like the pilgrims.  We will do science experiments, learn about molecules, study planets, and learn about primary and secondary colors.  We will also have music, art and sign language.

We will also be taking some field trips throughout the year. These, along with several holiday parties, will include parent participation. 

Pay close attention to the  pocket folder.  This folder will go back and forth with you child and will contain homework and letters to the parents.  It is very important that you check this folder weekly, otherwise you and your child might miss out on some very important information.

We look forward to having your child in our class this school year.  Please pray for us as we teach your children.

Supplies: $30 supply and field trip fee
