Most people generally fall into one of three main learning styles. Knowing your child's learning style can be a big step in maximizing their education - tailoring it to the way THEY learn.
It might even help to know YOUR style. Your learning style often translates into your teaching style. Your style may not match your child's style. Don't make the mistake of teaching the way YOU want to learn. It's not about you. Remember...you are the adult. You need to consider adusting your teaching style to your child's learning style, rather than the other way around - thinking that your child can adust their learning style to your teaching style.
Teach the way they learn. It's one of the beauties of homeschooling!
