THE IOWA TESTS
Math Concepts and Estimation
(3rd-8th Grade)
Provided by Home Ed (Home Educators of Greater Little Rock)
This test requires students to demonstrate their understanding of fundamental ideas in the areas of number properties and operations, geometry, measurement, algebra, probability and statistics, and estimation. The separately timed Estimation section tests mental arithmetic, number sense, and various estimation skills such as rounding.
The testing time for Math Concepts is 25 minutes.
The testing time for Estimation is 5 minutes.
