Home Ed provides support and many activities / events for our members. However, there are some needs that are best met by other organizations.

Homeschool-focused Organizations
These organizations seek and serve ONLY homeschoolers. They exist ONLY because of homeschoolers and ONLY for homeschoolers. These are owned and/or operated BY homeschoolers. They have a fairly close relationship with Home Ed, but they are separate organizations and charge separate, nominal fees. Because of their limited funds and direct relationship, we've listed information on a few of the higher-demand organizations under "Related Organizations".

Homeschool-friendly Businesses
These organizations seek and serve ANYONE...and they are happy to INCLUDE homeschoolers. They are businesses that would exist REGARDLESS of homeschoolers. However, if they can get homeschoolers to frequent their business, they stand to profit even more. These organizations include dance studios, art studios, educational help, music lessons, book stores, etc.

There are numerous businesses that would like to profit from having homeschoolers as part of their customer base. These businesses are very familiar with paying for advertising and the reasons as to why they must do so. To help defray our costs of production, Home Ed charges a nominal advertising fee to these organizations. Given the number of interested businesses and Home Ed's limited staffing, limited promotional space, and limited funds, we can only provide a few opportunities for these businesses to advertise and promote. These organizations can pay to advertise in the Home Page and/or have a paid booth at the annual Activity Fair. There are also advertising opportunities in our Yearbook. You will not find information on these organizations listed on our web site.
