Graduation Cords and Colors
What do the various graduation cord colors (aka ropes) represent?
Wearing cords at graduation is optional, but it’s a wonderful way to recognize and celebrate your homeschooler’s unique achievements. Some cords include suggested criteria to help guide your selections. Parents are welcome to order any and all cords that reflect their student’s accomplishments.

Gold = Academic Honors (3.5 GPA or higher)
Purple = Missions/Serving (250+ hours of service in high school)
Red, White, & Blue = Eagle Scout

Maroon = Music
Pink = Art/Creativity/Dance
Black = Civil Air Patrol
